In Photos: 10 Fun Ways We've Learned & Played Lately

Here’s just a few pics of stuff we’ve been doing.  🙂

  1. Jack sometimes writes his letters and numbers backwards so we practiced writing them in lotion on an old cookie sheet we save for crafts.  (Note the mess in the background.  I exist to make you feel better about your own homemaking skills!)
  2. Tea parties with our thrift store treasures.
  3. Decorating Grandma & Grandpa’s tree.
  4. Swimming at the hotel pool.
  5. Playing Anna’s Monopoly card game.
  6. Bringing treats to visit with elderly friends.
  7. Sewing ornaments with felt scraps.
  8. More baking with Daddy
  9. Reading, reading, reading, reading….
  10. Practicing our very, very serious faces.  😉

  1. Great photos! Looks like you’re having lots of fun! I love the cookie sheet idea! My daughter hates writing in cursive, so sometimes we pour a little cornmeal into a pan and she practices her letters that way. It’s more fun than a worksheet and she doesn’t get stressed about making the letters look perfect.
